This is what they said

A Partner at leading City of London law firm, Carter Lemon Camerons LLP, has given entrepreneurs and start-ups the lowdown on electronic direct marketing at an event in Central London.

Kate Boguslawska talked entrepreneurs through the points they need to consider when it comes to electronic direct marketing at the Business Mixer Event at Rainmaking Loft in Central London on 30 May 2017.

Her talk helped entrepreneurs better understand the legal considerations when it comes to electronic direct marketing, including what constitutes direct marketing, as well as discussing different types of personal data and best practice for electronic direct marketing.

She also discussed the role of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at the event attended by more than 40 business owners and entrepreneurs.

Kate said: “I was delighted to speak at the event and to be able to help entrepreneurs with some important considerations that they need to take into account as they market their businesses.”

“Electronic direct marketing is a great way for entrepreneurs to get their message across and to make consumers aware of the latest products, services and deals in the marketplace.”

“However, there are strict rules which have implications for digital marketing and it is crucial that entrepreneurs and start-ups are aware of these, so as to avoid incurring some potentially steep fines for any breaches.”

The event, organised by Polish Business Link, was supported by Carter Lemon Camerons LLP.
