British Army brought in for ‘rapid testing’ of all UK towns and cities

The British Army has been brought into help deliver a new rapid testing of the virus across the “whole of UK towns and cities.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Saturday that millions of tests that provide a diagnoses within 15 minutes will available soon.

The British Army provide a “steady, but massive expansion” of testing kits over the next few days.

Johnson said, “The Army has been brought in to work on the logistics and the programme will begin in a matter of days.”
