Angling Direct has pushed ahead with their expansion plans as the company has opened a new store in Nottinghamshire.
The fishing retailer opened a 4,500 sq ft store at Sutton in Ashfield on Saturday making this their 28th store.
Sales were up by 39% to £41m last month and investors were denied dividends due to the fishing retailer’s expansion plans to grow the company.
Darren Bailey, chief executive said in a statement on Monday morning, “While parts of the retail sector are experiencing difficulties, our strategic focus on customer experience and service has paid off and delivered a strong start to the year.”
