Tandem named best Neobank

7th May 19 11:59 am

Today Tandem Bank announces that it has been awarded the ‘Best Neo Bank UK 2019’ accolade by CFI.co. In doing so, CFI.co has recognised the digital bank as an example of best practice in the industry at the forefront of the digital banking revolution. Tandem is already gaining recognition internationally as a new type of bank that provides digital-only services, but what impressed judges even more was its customer focused ethos.

Each year, CFI.co seeks out organisations like Tandem that contribute significantly to the convergence of economies and truly add value for all stakeholders. CFI.co’s Awards Programme aims to identify and reward excellence wherever in the world it is found in the hope to inspire others.

The CFI.co judges, which include international banking and FinTech experts, have highlighted the Digital Challenger Bank’s use of new technologies to enhance and maximise customer satisfaction.

The judges said, “Tandem differentiates itself from other banks in the way its people always consider how well a new initiative will work for the customer and how it helps to solve real money problems.”

Tandem has also been praised for the rapid growth it has enjoyed since it launched its first product a year ago, as well as its forward thinking attitude. Now the bank looks to expand across both Europe and Asia.

Ricky Knox, CEO of Tandem said, “We are looking to expand rapidly, both in the UK and overseas, but we will keep the interests of our customers at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to innovate we will shape new services that maximise their outcomes.”

The Tandem App, Fixed Term Saver Account and the Cashback Credit Card are all products that have been praised by judges as they are all designed to help customers spend less time worrying about money and more time enjoying life.  Tandem also offers innovative AI-driven savings rules that automatically pay money into an interest bearing savings account.
