Vladimir Putin has ramped production of hypersonic ballistic missiles by “circumventing Western Sanctions.”

In particular Putin has started to produce “high precision” long-range Iskanders and Kinzhal missiles which can accurately hit their intended targets inside Ukraine.

Speaking to Ukrayinska Pravda, Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said in an interview that Putin’s allies are cooperating with Russia.

Ihnat said that Russia has now increased the production after a pause and allies are providing “boards, chips and semiconductors.”

He added, Putin “has more Kinzhals and Kalibrs. Obviously, Russia has found an opportunity to circumvent sanctions at the expense of individual countries that cooperate with it, and receives technological things that it cannot produce itself: boards, chips, and semiconductors. This is something without which the missile will not fly.”

However, he said that due to Western sanctions Putin’s forces does not have enough of the accurate long-range missiles – X-101, Iskander-M, Iskander-K, Kalibr, Kinzhal which can attack deep inside Ukraine.

When Moscow attacked critical infrastructure far and wide inside Ukraine, Putin had used up almost the full potential of this strategic weapons.

He added, “Therefore, I hope that Russia will be squeezed by sanctions. If the sanctions work comprehensively and are controlled, then Russia can be put in its place.”
