The Kremlin has warned that the US President’s attack on Iran’s nuclear sites the world could “end up on the verge of a nuclear disaster.”
Russia’s United Nations ambassador Vassily Nebenzia said Washington has opened “pandora’s box after striking three nuclear sites in Iran with a “bunker buster” air assault.
During an emergency UN security council meeting Nebenzia warned, “the US has opened a Pandora’s box,” adding. “No one knows what new catastrophes and suffering it will bring.”
He said that Moscow offered to help mediate to find peace, but Washington is “clearly not interested in diplomacy.”
He said, “Unless we stop the escalation, the Middle East will find itself on the verge of a large-scale conflict with unpredictable consequences for the entire international security system, plus the entire world might end up on the verge of a nuclear disaster.
