The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has threatened the US in a strongly worded speech that they will give a “crushing response” if President Trump extend the “arms embargo.”

Iran also called the UN Security Council arms embargo against their country as “illegitimate,” and Tehran repeated their criticism over Washington to exit the nuclear arms deal, which they call a “stupid mistake.”

Rouhani said, “If America wants to return to the deal, it should lift all the sanctions on Tehran and compensate for the re-imposition of sanctions.

“Iran will give a crushing response if the arms embargo on Tehran is extended.”

Rouhani has threatened the US because Trumps administration, said they are hopeful the United Nations Security Council will extend the embargo against Tehran before it expires in October.

Tehran have rolled back their commitments in response to the US decision to quit the nuclear arms accord, and have said they want the agreement to remain.

Rouhani said, “Iran’s nuclear steps are reversible if other parties to the deal fulfil their obligations and preserve Tehran’s interests under the pact.”
