Iran ‘strongly condemn’ British and US attacks in Yemen warning of all out war in the Middle East

Iran has condemned the US and British targeted airstrikes on the Houthis militants in Yemen and warned this will “contribute to insecurity” in the region.

British RAF Typhoon fighter jets and the Royal Navy launched devastating strikes in Yemen which is a “violation” of their “sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani in a statement, Nournews reported, “We strongly condemn the military attacks carried out this morning by the United States and the United Kingdom on several cities in Yemen.

“We consider it a clear violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a breach of international laws, regulations, and rights.”

He added, “These attacks will only contribute to insecurity and instability in the region.”

Yemen’s Houthis spokesperson Mohammed Abdulsalam warned on Friday that the attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea will continue.

Saudi Arabia has called on the US and the UK for restraint to avoid all out war in the Middle East and they are closely monitoring the situation with “great concern.”

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “The kingdom emphasises the importance of maintaining the security and stability of the Red Sea region, as the freedom of navigation in it is an international demand.”
