Watch: 151mph police chase over Easter weekend

A motorist was captured speeding at 151mph on the M1 during the Easter weekend lockdown, despite the public being told to stay at home.

Detective Sergeant Andy Cox, lead officer on roads policing, posted video footage of a pursuit on the M1.

He said, “Extreme speeds this weekend in #London. Many enforced including 97mph (40) on #A10.

“This driver reached 151mph on #M1 before decamping car & evading on foot. We will do upmost to identify & take action.”
