Vladimir Putin should ‘go to hell’ after he faces a ‘fair’ and ‘independent’ trial for war crimes committed in the Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said Putin must face a court trial and be “prosecuted” for the war crimes the Russian Army have committed throughout the last six months.
President Zelensky spoke with ABC’s David Muir in an interview and he was asked what does justice look like for those who have committed these horrendous war crimes.
Muir said to the President Zelensky, “You didn’t hide your anger, your disgust while you were there.
“As any civilized person, civilized man, I think that those responsible should not just go to hell, no, they should have fair trials.”
The Ukrainian leader said that there are still people out there who are trying to assassinate him.
Muir asked President Zelensky, “Your life is still clearly in danger.
“What is your intelligence telling you?
“Does Russia want you dead?’
Zelensky said, “The information is as it used to be.”
