The US President Donald Trump has suggested that Ukraine “may be Russian someday” and said no matter how the war ends he wants compensation for America providing billions in military aid.
President Trump said in an interview with Fox News that the US will be having “all this money” as he wants “it back.”
Trump told Fox News host Bret Baier, “They (Ukraine) may make a deal. They may not make a deal. They may be Russian someday, or they may not be Russian someday.
“But we’re going to have all this money in (Ukraine) and I say, I want it back.”

Trump who is appearing to act as if he is pro-Vladimir Putin said that the Kremlin said a “significant part” of Ukraine is already Russian, even though Ukraine is a sovereign state and the regions are actually occupied territories.
Moscow annexed four regions of Ukraine, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts and Russian passports have been issued to residents and mayors have been elected, the international community does not recognise these regions as Russian.
On the 24 February the war will enter its third anniversary and Trump has previously insisted that he can end the war in 24 hours.
Trump who wants the money back which was spend on military aid, he said that Kyiv has “essentially agreed” to a $500 billion rare earth resource deal.
Trump said, “I told them that I want the equivalent of like $500 billion worth of rare earth (minerals), and they’ve essentially agreed to do that, so at least we don’t feel stupid.”
Ukraine is potentially sitting on around $12 trillion of untapped rare earth minerals.
