The Mums Enterprise Roadshow comes to London

What’s it all about?

The success of UK mumpreneurs appears to be outpacing the sector’s growth in other nations, with the mum economy expected to generate £9.5billion for the UK economy by 2025.

Thousands if not millions of mums across the UK have started to realise that it really is possible to use their talents outside the 9am-5pm. Women are starting to make changes in their life to find flexible work, start up a business or are well on their way to running a successful business already.

But with this comes unique challenges of confidence, resource and expertise as well as understanding just how much support and opportunity really does exist.

The Mums Enterprise Roadshow will have reached over 4000 mums face-to-face in 2017 over 8000 in 2018 and by 2021 over 30,000 mums will be welcomed through the doors of the roadshow as it reaches over 10 regions across all corners of the UK.

Founded by two mums, Lindsey Fisher and Lucy Chaplin, it’s their mission to makes this roadshow truly deliver for the very real challenges facing mums in work and business today.

There is plenty of opportunity to get involved as an increasing number of individuals and organisations can help mums looking to retrain, find flexible work, start or grow a business.

The events landing in London on 25 September 2017, Birmingham on 17 October 2017 and again in Brighton on 22 February 2018 with further regions being added are totally free for mums to attend, have an on-site creche and are host to an exhibition with the UK’s most innovative and relevant individuals and organisations offering support, services and opportunities.
