The Prime Minister has warned his Cabinet that the UK is at risk of another summer of anti-immigration riots unless the “social fabric” is repaired.
The government is under immense pressure as protests broke out at Diss, Norfolk, Epping in Essex and Canary Wharf, London.
The Reform UK leader Nigel Farage issued a warning that Britain is almost at boiling point and close to “civil disobedience on a vast scale.”
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner said at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday that the government must acknowledge “real concerns” of a quick change to defuse tensions within communities across England.

The Deputy Prime Minister also warned that immigration is have a “profound impact on society.”
The Times reported that Rayner said the government has to admit “real concerns” that voters have of the impact immigration is having on housing and public services.
The Times reported that Sir Keir Starmer wants to improve integration in regions that have high levels of migration.
Executive director of policy and delivery Liz Lloyd warned social cohesion is “fraying at the edges,” which comes as thousands of illegal migrants are being allowed into the UK costing taxpayers millions and crime is soaring.
Rayner said, “while Britain was a successful multi-ethnic, multi-faith country, the government had to show it had a plan to address people’s concerns.”
Earlier this week Farage said, “I don’t think anybody in London even understands just how close we are to civil disobedience on a vast scale in this country.”
Shadow communities secretary Sir James Cleverly said: “I understand the desire to protest.
“There is never ever any excuse for rioting and we are seeing that agitators of both the Left and the Right are descending upon these communities to try to stir things up.
“There is never an excuse for that.
“But I do understand why local people are frustrated.”
