Comms consultancy Stand has been appointed to support the external launch of the Blue Light Card Foundation. Born from Blue Light Card โ the UKโs largest discount provider to members of the NHS, Armed Forces, emergency services and social care sector โ the Blue Light Card Foundation exists to ensure every member of the Blue Light community, both past and present, has access to vital wellbeing support.
Standโs scope includes an in-depth audience listening exercise, developing the foundationโs positioning, vision, mission and purpose, and a strategic integrated media, digital and social launch for the Blue Light Card Foundation.
Now officially launched, the foundation will grant funds to organisations and projects across the UK that provide life-enhancing support and experiences to members of the Blue Light community โ be that through funding bushcraft courses, surfing weekends, and walk and talk initiatives, to providing mental health TRIM training programmes, funding mental health hotlines and even renovating wellbeing spaces and break rooms on site.
Laura Oliphant, Founder at Stand, said, โWeโreย honouredย to be working in collaboration with the Blue Light Card Foundation as its partner for launch and beyond.
“Our audience listening phase really brought home the toll that working in a Blue Light role can have and highlighted a clear gap for accessible wellbeing support, that the foundation is proactively responding to.
โOur work with the Blue Light Card Foundationย enables usย to do our part to support those in the community who do the most for us.โ
Naomi Adie, General Manager, Blue Light Card Foundation added, โThe launch of the Blue Light Card Foundation is an exciting new chapter where we can support the people that go above and beyond for us every day.
“Stand has taken the time to listen to the Blue Light community, develop authentic positioning, and help us build a foundation that lets them know weโre there for them, any time they need us.โ
