Michelle Obama, who will be addressing a live audience about her memoir Becoming at Southbank Centre today, has offered some advice to the Duchess of Sussex.
The former US first lady was asked by a magazine what tips she could give Meghan when she said: โLike me, Meghan probably never dreamt that sheโd have a life like this, and the pressure you feel โ from yourself and from others โ can sometimes feel like a lot.โ
โSo my biggest pieces of advice would be to take some time and donโt be in a hurry to do anything.โ

In the interview, Michelle also spoke about how she spent the first couple of months in the White House โworrying about my daughtersโ and getting them settled before launching โinto any more ambitious workโ.
โI think itโs OK โ itโs good, even โ to do that โฆ What Iโd say is that thereโs so much opportunity to do good with a platform like that โ and I think Meghan can maximise her impact for others, as well her own happiness, if sheโs doing something that resonates with her personally.โ
Michelle Obama will be speaking alongside Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in London today evening. She also visited Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School in north London today.
