Vladimir Putin is struggling with his advance in the counter-offensive in Ukraine and as such he is sending wounded troops back into the frontlines.
This is demonstrating Russia’s limitations and effectiveness to fight on the frontlines which is causing serious casualty numbers.
The injured Russian soldiers are being thrown into battle in “meat wave” assaults and captured Russian troops are being medically treated by Ukrainian forces.
Soldiers on crutches are being thrown back onto the front in eastern Ukraine and video footage has been recorded showing the troops pleading with their commanders for better treatment, the Telegraph reports.
The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) has estimated that around 1,200 Russian troops are being killed in fighting daily.

Russia is being hit with enormous numbers of soldiers being killed in action as they simply do not have the proper training or the right equipment and are not skilled enough against an “effective” Ukrainian military force.
A Ukrainian soldier told the Telegraph, “This is a common situation when wounded Russian soldiers are captured.
“According to them, they were left to their fate without food and water to die by their own comrades.”
Russia has lost more than half a million troops thousands of military vehicles, more than 8,000 tanks, ships, helicopters and fighter jets costing billions.
This has proved how unfit Russia’s military is and their ability to fight a conventional war as they are still reliant on Cold War tactics.
On the Russia 1 channel there was a discussion with Vladimir Solovyo admitted the Russian military lack of skills.
He said, “Confronting the NATO alliance with conventional weapons, in view of its superiority in conventional means of warfare, well, from our side, any course of action would be extremely disadvantageous.
“It would be absolutely futile for us to enter into such an armed confrontation with conventional means.”
He then gave a grim warning, “This superiority in almost all positions is several times.
“And that is why it seems to me any confrontation with the NATO bloc is possible only with the use of nuclear weapons.”
