Moscow says they can see the UK ‘just as it did on the eve of both world wars’ warning ‘you will not succeed’

The Russian foreign intelligence service, the SVR has made “malicious” claims that the UK is the largest “warmonger” in the world.

The SVR has accused London of sabotaging the US efforts to secure a peace plan and undermining the US President Donald Trump’s so-called peacekeeping efforts.

The SVR claimed the UK started World War II, adding, “It is time to expose them and send a clear signal to the treacherous Albion and its elites: you will not succeed.”

“As we can see, London today, just as it did on the eve of both world wars of the last century, acts as the main ‘instigator’ of the global conflict.”

Earlier today Moscow accused two British diplomats of engaging in “counter-intelligence work” and signs of “sabotage work,” inside Russia and were then expelled from the country.

The Foreign Office said in a statement, “This is not the first time that Russia has made malicious and baseless accusations against our staff.”

The FSB told Russian state media TASS they gave false information about themselves when they entered Russia.

A representative of the British embassy in Moscow has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry over the alleged incident.

During the meeting it has been reported the two British diplomats were spies, they added, “British citizens are strongly advised to provide only reliable and complete information about themselves when applying for a Russian visa.

“A warning was also made that if London escalates the situation, the Russian side will give a decisive ‘mirror’ response.”
