The latest official figures show that a quarter of adults in the UK have now been fully vaccinated with both jabs.
Up to the 26 April a total of 13,201,811 people have now recived both vaccines which amounts to the equivalent of 25.1% of the adult population in the UK.
The second dose of the vaccine must be given within 12 weeks after patients have received their first jab.
From Monday NHS England those aged over 44-years-old were invited to book their first jab and today those aged from 42 can now apply.
