A member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegations has been executed by the Ukrainian Security Service for suspicion of treason.
The Interfax agency reported that during the arrest, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) shot dead a member of the Ukrainian negotiating group Denys Kireev.
Kireev was suspected of high treason, Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko has said.
“During the arrest, the Security Service of Ukraine shot dead a member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation Denys Kireev. He was suspected of high treason,” Honcharenko wrote on his Telegram channel.
Honcharenko claims that, according to interlocutors in political circles, the SBU had clear evidence of Kireev’s treason , which included telephone conversations.
On Thursday, the SBU Security Service had reported the arrest of a spotter who directed a Russian Kalibr cruise missile strike on the Ivano-Frankivsk airfield.
In a statement the SBU said, “The saboteur arrived in the city a day before the large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
“He settled near the airport. And on the eve of the Russian missile and bomb strikes, he transmitted information to the enemy about the location of the target.
“As a result of the bombing, the airport’s infrastructure was destroyed. The saboteur reported back to the invaders when he helped them direct fire to another strategic target.”
SBU agents killed an enemy sabotage group whose main task was to collect data on the location of military units in Kyiv.
They said the surviving saboteurs were handed over to law enforcement officers.
