Former CBS outdoor boss Tom Goddard has snapped up Lord Sugar’s out-of-home advertising business Amscreen.

Goddard, founder and CEO of DigiCom, will now also take over Amscreen’s 3,500 screens.

Amscreen employs 15 staff who will move to Digicom.

Back in 2011, Amscreen bought Goddard’s sales and marketing operation of DigiCom.

Lord Sugar’s son Simon Sugar, Amscreen’s CEO said “This move will allow us to concentrate on our core competencies of hardware and software development whilst the media operation will benefit from Tom Goddard’s considerable experience in the OOH [out of home] environment.

“We are delighted that we shall continue to work in a truly symbiotic fashion with Tom and believe that the media team will benefit significantly from his guidance and leadership”

No financial details of the deal were revealed.
