The founder of Pimlico Plumbers Charlie Mullins OBE has issued a very blunt attack on Labour warning millions of Brits.

Mullins, who is a self-made multi-millionaire, has issued a warning to Sir Keir Starmer and the Treasury and he is planning to move his assets to Spain and Dubai.

In 2023 Mullins sold Pimlico Plumbers for £145 million and over the years he has paid more than £120 million in taxes.

Mullins told GB News that his “ambitions are better rewarded and appreciated” in other countries and certainly not in the UK under a Labour government, which will be an enormous blow to the Treasury as many thousands are to follow.

Mullins added, he is moving overseas to “protect his assets for him and his family.”

He said, “Labour are going to increase Inheritance Tax, capital gains, he’s just destroying Britain. It’s just not practical anymore to be here.

“I’ve paid over £120 million into the system, and I’m afraid to say that Starmer is just driving away investors, entrepreneurs, even just normal people that are earning around £100,000 to £150,000, they also want to leave.”

GB News Tom Harwood said that the decision appears to be “unpatriotic,” however Mullins said that Starmer is “anti-business” and the UK would have been much better off with the Tories.

He continued, “I’m pretty sad to be leaving to be honest, it’s quite a big decision, but I’m no longer prepared to keep putting into the system and letting them waste it” as Starmer is “going to make it worse” for Brits.

Mullins told GB News, “The Conservatives have done a lot of damage over the years, but I just feel that Labour are going to make it worse and just make it not practical to live here anymore.

“I’ve already invested in a new business, a family business similar to the one before, but I’m not going to be on the payroll. I’m not going to be involved, other than my expertise. I’m just not prepared to give the government any more of my money and be treated the way we’re treated.”
