Russian oligarchs are “extremely unhappy” with Vladimir Putin as he has refused to accept Donald Trump’s offer for peace which comes as the Russian economy is shattered and entering into a recession.
Most of the Russian elites believe the US Presidents proposals for a peace agreement are reasonable and generous and they want the war to end before the Russian economy enters into bankruptcy and they lose their billions.
IIya Ponomarev who is anti-Putin told the Express that amongst the most powerful and loyal to the Kremlin, their patience is now very thin and running out.

Ponomarev said, “Russian elites are extremely unhappy because Putin is not taking Trump’s offer. And that was very clearly seen at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
“They’re actually telling Putin stories that the Russian economy is about to plunge into recession, which I don’t think is the case.
“And I don’t see many people who actually believe this in Russia either. But they, nevertheless, are repeating this even at the highest levels – such as (Russian Central Bank governor) Nabiullina and others.
“And the only reason for this is to urge Putin to stop playing games with the military and come back to normalcy. And that’s what Russian elites want. And they’re right now very unhappy because they don’t understand why Putin is not taking Trump’s offer, which they think is very generous.
Earlier this week the US President expressed his frustration over Putin and threatened he could bomb the “sh*t out of Moscow,” warning him I might “have no choice.”
CNN obtained an audio where Donald Trump said during a fundraiser in 2024 to donors that he threatened Putin with “Putin I said, ‘If you go into Ukraine, I’m going to bomb the sh*t out of Moscow. I’m telling you I have no choice’.”
It is not understood when the alleged discussion too place, Trump added, “And then (Putin) goes, like, ‘I don’t believe you.’ But he believed me 10%.”
On Tuesday during a Cabinet meeting Trump said, “We get a lot of bullsh*t thrown at us by Putin.”
The US President has also suggested that Washington could now trigger a Senate sanction bill and he could impose 500% tariffs on imports from countries who are buying Russian oil and gas and other products.
