Jean-Claude Juncker the European Commission president has said that Britain will be to blame if they leave without a deal.
Juncker added that he and Michel Barnier the chief EU negotiator are doing their best to secure a Brexit deal.
Juncker warned that a no-deal will be catastrophic for both the UK and the EU, and the EU will not accept any blame if there is a no-deal.
Juncker told German publication Augsburger Allgemeine, “Our chief negotiator Michel Barnier and I are doing everything possible to get an agreement.
“But if we don’t succeed in the end, the responsibility would lie exclusively on the British side.”
