The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) spokesman said their defence systems kicked in to work to โ€œintercept the threatโ€ of the Iranian missile strike, which Tehran denies.

Israels Defence Minister Israel Katz issued a statement vowing the military will โ€œrespond forcefully to Iran’s violation of the ceasefire.โ€

In northern Israel air raid sirens rung out and residents were told to evacuate as Iran broke the ceasefire deal.

Katz said that Iranโ€™s โ€œviolation of the ceasefireโ€ will see retaliation and the IDF has been ordered to โ€œrespond forcefullyโ€ and they will deploy โ€œintense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran.โ€

A spokesperson for the IDF, Chief of Staff Major General Eyal Zamir, said, “In light of the serious ceasefire violation committed by the Iranian regime, we will attack with force.

The US President wrote on Truth Social, โ€œOn the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, โ€˜THE 12 DAY WAR’.

โ€œThis is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didnโ€™t, and never will!

God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!โ€
