Is there a storm brewing?

Theresa May is brokering a deal with the Democratic Unionist Party, it will not be a coalition but a ‘confidence and supply deal,’ the last time Britain had this was in 1977.

May Friday afternoon has seen the Queen for her official engagement and will now form a government.

Despite this enormous humiliation after losing her mandate she is ignoring what the country is saying and is continuing on as if nothing had ever happened, after a catastrophic loss.

Speaking from Downing Street, May said that she will continue the will of the British people to tackle terrorism and Brexit.

But, the people have spoken so how can she continue? Will the Conservative Party splinter?

May said: “The Government I lead will put fairness and opportunity at the heart of everything we do.

“Over the next five years we will build a country in which no one and no community is left behind.”

She added: “What the country needs more than ever is security, and having secured the largest number of seats. “

A senior minister said to Sky News that May cannot continue as prime minister and there will be another election in October.

Senior political correspondent, Beth Rigby said for Sky News, that speaking to a senior minister who said: “May’s credibility has been tarnished home and abroad and she cannot continue as prime minister in the longer term.

“They forecast ANOTHER election in October.”

Sky’s Mark Stone said: “The reaction from across the EU illustrates that there is no glee here in Brussels following Mrs May’s disastrous gamble.”
