French terrorism authorities are investigating a knife attack which happened in Paris, that wounded two journalists who were close to the former Charlie Hebdo offices. It was initially believed that there were four people stabbed.
The attack took place in the east of Paris, near the Richard Lenoir Metro station, where a machete or a meat clever was found.
French terror police have opened an investigation into “attempted murder in relation with a terrorist enterprise.”
“I saw a guy that was in his 30s or 40s with an axe in his hand who was walking behind a victim covered in blood…I can’t tell you how many victims there was, I just saw one,” witness Kader Alfa told The Associated Press.

This terror attack comes just three weeks after 14 people who attacked the Charlie Hebdo offices went on trial in Paris. Â It is believed the attackers of the Hebdo office had links to homegrown Islamist militants.
