France hit with a second terror attack as suspect shouts ‘Allahu Akbar’

A second terror attack unfolded on Thursday morning and police shot dead a knifeman hours after the deadly terrorist attack in Nice.

The knifeman was shot dead in the Montfavet district of Avignon at 11:55 this morning. The knifeman threatened people and the police with a knife shouting “Allahu Akbar.”

Earlier on Thursday morning another attack took place in Nice where a knifeman decapitated two people and injured several others, who also shouted “Allahu Akbar.”

Christian Estrosi the Mayor of Nice, said that the “Islamo fascist” was shot by police and taken to hospital.

Authorities are yet to confirm if the two attacks were related.
