Ex-Virgin Money boss rejects Bank of England role for Salesforce

The former boss of Virgin Money, Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia, has turned down a role to become an external member on the Financial Policy Committee at the Bank of England to become the chief executive of Salesforce.

In a statement, the Bank said: “We are of course sorry that Jayne-Anne Gadhia won’t be taking up her role.”

But, it said: “We fully understand her decision and wish her well for the future.”

In a statement, Salesforce said: “Jayne-Anne is one of the most respected CEOs in the UK and we are thrilled to welcome her.”
