Eco-activists sprayed red paint using fire extinguishers on a £228 million mega yacht in Ibiza owned by Walmart heiress Nancy Walton.

The group “Futuro Vegetal” (Vegetable Future) uploaded the video on social media and held up a banner reading “You consume, others suffer.”

The group said, “The richest one percent of the world’s population pollutes more than the poorest 50%.

“They are condemning us to a future of pain, misery and desolation.”

‘Futuro Vegetal’ continued: “They are destroying our planet, compromising the habitability of the earth and everything, to lead a standard of living that goes beyond the limits of reason.

“The climate crisis means endless suffering and horror for everyone on the planet.”

The group added, “Neither all the repression, nor the outcome of any election process is going to stop” their efforts to “mitigate the impact of the climate crisis.”

Futuro Vegetal and Extinction Rebellion Ibiza have also painted sports cars and infiltrated a luxury club and a private plane was sprayed in black.

Posting on Twitter, the group said, “The only reason we continue to maintain an economic system that leads to eco-social collapse is to sustain the privileges of this small privileged class.

“The mega-rich live off the suffering of others.

“It is the people at the top of the social pyramid who put all life on the planet at their service, forcing us to work to sustain their system, exploiting animals and destroying the land no matter how much suffering and death is involved.”
