Chevron closes Canary Wharf office over coronavirus fears

Chevron has instructed around 300 staff to work from home after an employee was tested for coronavirus after suffering from flu like symptoms.

All employees who work at Chevron’s office in Canary Wharf, London have been instructed to work remotely until the tests come back.

Chevron said in a statement, “Chevron continues to monitor the situation very closely, utilizing the guidance of international and local health authorities.

“Our primary concern is the health and safety of our employees and we are taking precautionary measures to reduce their risk of exposure.”
