London Designer Outlet (LDO) is the capital’s leading fashion and lifestyle outlet centre. LDO, which is managed by the UK’s specialist outlet operator Realm, is located at the heart of Wembley Park, London’s globally renowned entertainment district and 365-day neighbourhood.

Sue Shepherd, General Manager for London Designer Outlet, said: “What a spectacular send-off to Daniel Craig’s James Bond and a stunning welcome back to flocks of cinema-lovers. Over the weekend, since No Time To Die premiered, we’ve seen a  rise in footfall and in sales. Given that guests are increasingly visiting us for our leisure and dining, now accounting for more than a quarter of London Designer Outlet’s total sales and helping to increase centre dwell time and complement our retail and fashion stores, this shows a bright future ahead.

“The return of blockbusters to our cinemas is a very welcome one for both our guests and our high streets. Just like the joy of shopping in your favourite stores, there’s nothing like the thrill of seeing a film on the cinema screen, surrounded by other people feeling the same energy you do. The pandemic has reinforced how important it is to have a mix of leisure, dining and retail in our shopping destinations to provide both the steady footfall and further amplify the irreplaceable experience of bricks-and-mortar retail.

“LDO, the capital’s leading premium fashion and lifestyle outlet centre is emerging from the pandemic with an improved retail and dining offer, including new brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Byron Burgers, a more loyal than ever, local shopper base (with our international guests beginning to return in greater numbers), and lots more in the pipeline to further improve our guests’ experience and enjoyment when they visit us. It’s very much time to once again come together and enjoy eating, drinking and shopping together.”
