The US has launched strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites and according to the New York Times six B-2 bombers dropped 12 bunker buster bombs on the Fordow nuclear sites.

US Navy submarines launched around 30 tomahawk cruise missiles at Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities.

Citing an official the New York Times said a B-2 stealth bombers dropped two bunker buster bombs on Natanz nuclear facility.

All three sites which were bombed overnight by the US were enriching uranium for Iran to produce nuclear weapons.

The United Nations chief Antonio Guterres said he is “gravely alarmed” by the US bombing on the three nuclear sites and warned this is a “dangerous escalation.”

He added, “There is a growing risk that this conflict could rapidly get out of control – with catastrophic consequences for civilians, the region, and the world.”

The US President said in a statement on Sunday morning, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and [Isfahan].

“All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors.

“There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

The US President has warned there will be further attacks on Iran if they continue to not negotiate on their nuclear programme.

Trump said, “Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.

“There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days. Remember, there are many targets left,” he added, thanking the “brilliant military minds involved in this attack.”

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has said there is no increase in “off-site radiation” following the strikes on the three nuclear facilities.

They wrote on X, “Following attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran – including Fordow – the IAEA can confirm that no increase in off-site radiation levels has been reported as of this time.

“IAEA will provide further assessments on situation in Iran as more information becomes available.”
