Ukraine has delivered a spectacular “Spiderweb” drone attack on Russia targeting four airbases obliterating $7 billion of war planes including the strategic nuclear capable bombers in an operation that “will undoubtedly be in the history books.”

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed late on Sunday evening that “Spiderweb” operators of the Security Services (SBU) had invaded Russian airfields destroying $7 billion of military aircraft.

The President wrote on social media the operation was dubbed as “Spiderweb” which gave an “absolutely brilliant result.”

Zelensky wrote, “A result achieved solely by Ukraine. One year, six months, and nine days from the start of planning to effective execution. Our most long-range operation.

“Our people involved in preparing the operation were withdrawn from Russian territory in time.”

President Zelensky thanked General Vasyl Malyuk, he said, “Of course, not everything can be revealed at this moment, but these are Ukrainian actions that will undoubtedly be in history books. Ukraine is defending itself, and rightly so – we are doing everything to make Russia feel the need to end this war. Russia started this war, Russia must end it.”

More than 40 military aircraft were destroyed including a Tu-95, Tu-22 M3 and an A-50 and 34% of Russia’s strategic cruise missile carriers were either damaged or destroyed.

The SBU said in a statement released on Sunday, “Seven billion US dollars. This is the estimated cost of the enemy’s strategic aviation, which was hit today as a result of a special operation by the SBU – ‘Spiderweb’.”
