Wagner Group are being met “with open arms” in Rostov-on-Don by “civilians” after storming the Russian military HQ which is in charge of operations in the Ukraine war.

Vladimir Putin has ordered a “Russian airstrike on the Wagner” convoy on Saturday where an explosion was seen hitting a military vehicle.

Outside the city of Voronezh the Wagner military convoy was struck on the M4 highway as a Reuters journalist reported seeing troop carriers and a tank on a flatbed lorry.

In another attack Wagner mercenaries “shot down three helicopters and on transport plane” and are en route to Moscow.

Wagner are asking “the Russian military not to interfere” with their operation and in Moscow police have surrounded Wagner HQ.

Government officials in the city of Voronezh have ordered residents to stay inside and in the Lipetsk region security concerns have been raised as Wagner get closer to Moscow.

Also in the city an oil depot was blown up by a pro-Putin attack helicopter which saw a huge explosion and thick black toxic smoke seen high in the sky.
