Russia launches massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv killing many

On Thursday Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv killing at least nine people leaving many injured.

Russia launched a total of 215 drones and missiles across Ukraine overnight.

The attack was the largest since July last year and the attack involved 11 ballistic missiles, 55 cruise missiles and 145 drones.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said that at least 42 people have been taken to hospital and people are trapped under rubble.

Vladimir Putin has been condemned for claiming he wants peace then hours later launching a deadly attack on the Ukrainian capital.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, “It is very important that everyone in the world sees and understands what is really happening.”
