Poland’s Foreign Affairs Minister has said that Russia’s attack on a Polish factory was “intentional” as the Barlinek Group factory in Vinnytsia, Ukraine was attacked from “three directions.”
Overnight Russia bombarded four Ukrainian cities leaving at least 15 injured as the attacks were mainly concentrated on energy infrastructure.
The Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski wrote on X, “There are injuries, including two severely burned.”
Sikorski said the Polish consulate and Ukrainian authorities are responding to the deliberate Russian attack on the Polish factory.
“Putin’s criminal war is coming closer to our borders,” he added.
Speaking to newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza the Polish Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Paweł Wroński said the factory was struck by five drones.
Wroński, confirmed a total of six people were injured, adding, “This proves it wasn’t a coincidence. A civilian target was clearly attacked.”
Overnight Russia launched around 400 Shahed and decoy drones and a ballistic missile, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed.
President Volodymyr Zelensky’s hometown of Kryvyi Rih, Vinnytsia and Odesa were also attacked by Russia.
The attack on President Zelensky’s hometown was the largest on the city since the start of the war, Southern Defense Forces revealed.
They said on Wednesday, “Yesterday late in the evening and tonight, Russia carried out the most massive attack on Kryvyi Rih since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
“Russians used a ballistic missile and 28 Shaheds simultaneously.”
They said that many industrial sites were attacked and destroyed, adding, “The infrastructure was damaged. Several districts of the city were cut off from electricity. One civilian was wounded.”
