Robinhood pops-up in Waterloo station unveiling a new desktop trading platform

4th Jun 25 9:39 am

Robinhood UK has installed its first ever trading pop-up in Waterloo station, marking the launch of its new desktop platform, Robinhood Legend.

Located in Waterloo station, the pop-up will be based within a clear 5x5m cube structure, housing 6 monitors displaying Robinhood Legend, a fully customisable desktop trading platform designed specifically for active traders.

Using Robinhood Legend, customers can keep a pulse on the market with real time data from 5+ exchanges updating at sub-second intervals, as well as custom intervals by the day, hour, minute, second, and all the way down to the tick.

Inside the cube, two traders will be demonstrating this powerful technology – live-trading throughout the day as they are watched by the public. Already immensely popular in the US, Robinhood Legend is now available at no additional cost to anyone in the UK with a Robinhood account.

Robinhood launched in the UK in 2023, recognising the opportunity to reduce some of the barriers to investing and support customers who felt underserved by the existing market offering. Robinhood offers unique, innovative features such as trading on 6,000 US-listed stocks and ADRs (fractional and whole shares) – with no FX fees on trades. It also allows UK customers to trade certain securities 24 hours a day, five days a week and offers stock lending, margin investing and options trading.

The activation aims to bring trading closer to the public – showcasing the power of Robinhood Legend. With Waterloo Stationโ€™s high footfall and central location, the event is expected to reach a broad audience of professionals, commuters and both active and passive investors.
