Overnight Russia launched around 550 missiles and drones which comes after the US President held a “disappointing” phone call with Vladimir Putin.

Trump said that there will be “no progress” to a long-term ceasefire.

Trump said, “I’m very disappointed with the conversation I had today with President Putin, because I don’t think he’s there, and I’m very disappointed.”

Trump said Washington is providing “weapons” to Ukraine and “we haven’t” completely stopped sending weapons. He blamed former President Joe Biden for “emptying out our whole country giving them weapons, and we have to make sure that we have enough for ourselves”.

Ukraine‘s foreign minister Andrii Sybiha said Thursday was “one of the worst” night in Kyiv saying “Moscow must be slapped with the toughest sanctions without delay”.

He added, “Absolutely horrible and sleepless night in Kyiv. One of the worst so far.”

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, “This was one of the most large-scale air attacks – deliberately massive and cynical.”
