Metro Bank possible takeover approach sees shares rise

Metro Bank’s share has soared as they have received a possible takeover approach by investment firm Pollen Street Capital.

Sky News reported that discussions are in the early stages and there it remains uncertain if a deal will be struck.

The banks shares soared by 13% as the markets opened.
