Ford will cut hundreds of jobs in the UK as part of a wider European overhaul and around 4,000 jobs will be lost.
The car manufacturer said in the UK there will be 800 job losses and Britain and Germany will be impacted the most.
Ford said this is to โcreate a more cost-competitive structure and ensure the long-term sustainabilityโ in Europe for the company.
Ford said they have had pressure from โlower-than-expected demandโ for electric vehicles.
