A damning intelligence report compiled by the Australian Secret Intelligence Service, the equivalent of Britain’s MI6 has condemned China over their secrecy.
Beijing deliberately remained secret over the initial outbreak in Wuhan, China which amounts to an “assault on international transparency.”
The 15-page dossier which was complied for the “Five Eyes” that partners New Zealand, Canada, the US and the UK, blames China for not containing the problem and allowing it to become a global pandemic.
The leaked dossier describes how “to the endangerment of other countries” China blatantly covered up news of coronavirus by “disappearing” the few doctors, and others who spoke out.
The dossier, which was leaked to The Saturday Telegraph, an Australian newspaper, has also accused Beijing over destroying laboratory evidence and also refused to provide samples to scientists across the world.
Australian intelligence officials have said, the P4 laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology had been investigating deadly bat-derived coronaviruses.
The leaked dossier cites, “deadly denial of human-to-human transmission” and a deliberate delay in acknowledging the risk to the World Health Organization (WHO).
This delay led to an exodus of five million people from Wuhan in early January, and tensions between Australia and Beijing are reaching a knife edge as the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison has called for a global inquiry.
Dr Shi Zhengli conducted several studies as areas of concern by the report. One of the estimated 50 virus samples Dr Shi analysed in her laboratory is a 96% genetic match to Covid-19.
She has publicly spoken about her sleepless nights and was worrying if her laboratory was responsible, when she learned of the outbreak.
The Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China which is also a Biological weapons laboratory, is at the centre of a global investigation by many governments and intelligence agencies including NATO across the West.
There is increasing global confidence that the Covid-19 virus escaped from the Bio-weapons lab in Wuhan, but not as a Bio-weapon.
This is completely at odds with what the Chinese authorities originally claimed in January that the outbreak started at a wet market in Wuhan.
Matthew Henderson, who is the former Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in Beijing, who is now the head of the Henry Jackson Society’s Asia programme, said, “Chinese cover-up and misinformation were clearly responsible for the spread of the pandemic.”
The acting Director of US National Intelligence Richard Grenell and other US intelligence agencies have confirmed on Thursday, that the US intelligence community, to inclide the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) are now investigating China.
In a statement from the acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, said, “The entire Intelligence Community (IC) has been consistently providing critical support to U.S. policymakers and those responding to the COVID-19 virus, which originated in China.
“The Intelligence Community also concurs with the wide scientific consensus that the COVID-19 virus was not man-made or genetically modified.
The US President and the Trump administration will use the findings from the investigation to determine how they can hold China and President Xi Jingping to account.
The investigation into China could continue for weeks or months, a senior intelligence source told Fox.
Previously scientists have revealed that Covid-19 was man made and manufactured at the Bio-weapons lab in Wuhan, China.
There has been much controversy over coronavirus, but what is for certain it came from the Wuhan lab, and scientists have claimed there were infected there, and this is the most likely cause to the pandemic.
