123456: The 25 worst passwords of all time

Is your password 123456? Yes? Congratulations! Because you have managed to be innovative enough to come up with the worst password ever.

According to data compiled by password management firm SplashData, more than two million passwords were leaked in 2015.

The company found that there are geniuses in the world whose password for various accounts is the very word “password”.

SplashData said that the most secure passwords are long passwords and that your password for every website should be different. They also advised using a password manager, such as LastPass, 1Password, or SplashData’s own SplashID, to store passwords.

But what if you forget the passwords to your password managers? Well, god help you in that case.
