Paris attacks suspect raid leads to shootout in Brussels – here’s what we know

The latest info on the hunt for suspects

Belgian police are on the hunt for at least two men, after a raid on a property in Brussels turned into a shootout.

Three officers were injured, one of them seriously, in the exchange of fire between police and at least two suspects in the Paris attacks, where 130 people were killed last November.

The anti-terror raid took place in a southern neighbourhood of Brussels called Forest.

The suspects, who were also reported to be injured, fled over rooftops.

Belgian news website Dernière Heure said the police came under Kalashnikov fire, however, when the suspects escaped it is believed they left these weapons behind.

A major police investigation has now begun, involving a helicopter.
