Manufacturing is set to commence for Apple’s latest incarnation of its world beating smartphone, it has been claimed.
Reports from Asia this week indicate that production of display panels could begin in May for the 4.7 version of the iPhone 6, which could see a release date as early as August this year.
Yesterday, Reuters reported that Apple suppliers LG, Japan Display and Sharp will begin manufacturing activities next month for the thin touch panel films similar to those already used for current iPhones.
Alongside the manufacturing rumours, new photographs purportedly showing an early production of the casing of the iPhone 6 are doing the rounds on the internet. If legitimate, then fans can expect to see a newly shaped camera and a thinner phone.
