Gamers in meltdown! UK's first eSports bar to open in London

London’s gamers are about to take competition to a whole new level thanks to the opening of the UK’s first “eSports” bar.

Patrons will be able to enjoy gaming-themed drinks and live eSports events during opening hours, as well as being allowed free access to PCs for free-play time and participation in weekly bar tournaments for titles like STarCraft 2, League of Legends and Street Fighter 4.

The bar is set to open at 342 Caledonian Road in central London. It will be the third bar opened by the Meltdown chain, following two other eSports bars in Berlin and Paris.

Meltdown London is set to host its grand opening on June 1, with further details to be revealed on its Facebook page.
