Posh and sporty business tie-up for Beckham
Former England football player David Beckham has announced a new venture in collaboration with the Hong Kong-listed company Global Brands Group.
The joint venture, named Seven Global, is set to team up with men’s fashion and sports tailor, Kent & Curwen, a company set up in 1926.
Kent & Curwen is owned by Trinity Limited, and is owned by the same family that set up Global Brands Group.
So it’s quite a tight Hong Kong-based business circle, but Beckham’s involvement will give the Trinity-owned clothing company a huge boost.
Beckham is expected to provide input to clothing design, store design and will of course front the brand. Back of the net.
