Bond, James Bond causes a stir on the Thames as filming begins in London

Do you expect us to wave Mr Bond?

Daniel Craig has been spotted whizzing along the Thames in a speedboat outside London’s famous MI6 building, as filming for the latest James Bond film has begun.

The upcoming film, titled Spectre, will be Craig’s fourth outing as Bond, James Bond, and will be director Sam Mendes’ second movie in the franchise.

Craig was seen standing on a speedboat alongside co-star Rory Kinnear who plays MI6 agent Bill Tanner. Unfortunately there were no gratuitous explosions reported.

As Bond navigated the murky waters of central London, news also emerged that his trademark vodka martini “shaken not stirred” will stay dry, as a deal between the film makers and luxury vodka brand Belvedere has been announced. This will replace a Heineken partnership that saw Craig clutching a green beer bottle in and advertisement that left some fans asking why Bond was ditching his signature drink.

Filming for Spectre started last week, and will take the crew to filming locations in Mexico City, the Alps, Rome and Morocco.
